Dear IFSTAL Community,

We hope you are having a great Easter break! Coming up IFSTAL has some events that may interest you, including a food system career event and a PhD away day. Plus, as usual, a number of posts about other relevant and interesting opportunities.

Careers and skills days in May 2017

We have specialist careers sessions in each IFSTAL location taking place in May. Register for your local event below:

YOU CAN ALSO BOOK A 20 MINUTE 1:1 SESSION WITH A CAREERS ADVISOR/ROSINA and participate in a two hour career skills session. For more details and to book your slot, see the link in the Workplace Events section here on the Portal.

Research/ Careers / Internships / Certificates

As some of you approach the end of your studies, IFSTAL may be able to help you with finding suitable opportunities in the workplace. Check out Rosina’s latest workplace update in the workplace forum HERE, and the workplace tile in general for links to research opportunities with OXFAM, research ideas of interest to the Eden project, and opportunities to support the Sustainable Food Trust in their policy work.

Don’t forget to include IFSTAL on your CV – many organisations recognise and favour this.

If you would like a certificate to reflect your participation in IFSTAL, please see the information regarding the procedure here on the Portal.
