IFSTAL Summer School 2020 – Virtual Event 23rd – 25th June 2020
Don't miss out on the opportunity to join us to develop your systems knowledge, listen to and be involved in discussions with high-profile speakers and increase your skills communicating complexity effectively using virtual and remote platforms!
Although we will all be remote from each other, the Summer School will still be highly interactive, with a mixture of teaching, discussion and practical application of learning. There will be a range of relevant and high-profile speakers, and time built in for breaks and more social fun activities. Confirmed speakers, so far, include:
· Prof Gerald Midgley, University of Hull
· Dr Harley Pope, Univeristy of Reading
· Amy Jackson, Oxtale specialist communication
· Theo Webb, Director Producer of Dynasties and Planet Earth, BBC
· Dr Andrew Wakefield, University of Bristol
· Toby Shergold, UKRI
One of the fantastic benefits of the IFSTAL Summer School is your involvement in a real-life project where you will work with other individuals from different areas of the IFSTAL cohort. Many previous participants have used this experience as tangible evidence of interdisciplinary working in job applications and interviews, to great success.
You will also have the opportunity to “meet” with the team and other participants a week before the event, working on this joint project using innovative technologies and sign up to career roundtable discussions to be held on Tuesday 30th June.
Applications to attend are now OPEN and the closing date has been extended to Friday 22nd May! Apply now!
Please do not hesitate to contact Louise (firstname.lastname@example.org) if you have any questions!
