***City Food Lecture 2020*** Thursday 20th February, 10am to 10pm, London
We have been offered 3 places at this fantastic event. This opportunity also incorporates the exclusive student pre-event which includes a very interesting visit to McDonald’s headquarters in London and a student discussion group with the speakers and the panel before the actual lecture. See here for details of the lecture and previous years: https://www.cityfoodlecture.com/.
Everything is included on the day, but you will need to find your own way to and from London.
In order to be entered the draw, please send an email from your student account with CITY FOOD LECTURE DRAW in the subject line to email@example.com with your name, course and institution in the email body.
This draw will close at MIDNIGHT on 30th November 2019. 3 names will be drawn at random on the 3rd December and you will be notified if you have a place by the 6th December. We also draw 3 further names as a reserve list in case of mitigating circumstances, and we will also inform you if you are on this list. Good luck!
***IFSTAL 2019 Public Lecture *** Friday 13th December 2019, SOAS, London
Sue Pritchard will kindly deliver the Christmas lecture for us this year. She is Director of the Food, Farming and Countryside Commission at the RSA and has a background in leading sustainable change. See here: https://www.thersa.org/action-and-research/rsa-projects/public-services-and-communities-folder/food-farming-and-countryside-commission
This is also a great opportunity to catch up with past and present IFSTAL participants afterwards over a glass of mulled wine and a mine pie. As a public event, you can bring your friends, colleagues and students from other institutions.
