Food System Resilience: Concepts and Practise

Summary: Starting with a brief recap of food system dynamics, the Webinar will focus on three notions of food system resilience: robustness, recovery and re-orientation. It will then cover how system re-organisation (i.e. adaptation) relates to each notion, and the potential benefits and challenges of implementation. The Webinar will then move to increasing resilience in crop production systems, and will conclude with a discussion of how each resilience notion can be applied in practice to maintain supply to consumers.
