IFSTAL Workshop 4

5:00 PM

IFSTAL Workshop 4 – Shaping Change and Developing Solutions

This workshop will introduce a method which is commonly used in organisations seeking to make and evaluate change – Theory of Change. This framework, while not widely used in academic research, is often used in the NGO and government sectors. Workshop  builds on Workshops 1-3, consolidates your learning from Unit 4 on the portal and provides a useful framework to practice and critique.  During the workshop participants will have a chance to practice the method by applying the framework to a food systems context.

Workshop Learning Outcomes

  • Have applied and used Theory of Change framework to examine a food systems intervention

  • Have critically evaluated Theory of Change framework, identifying strengths and weaknesses

  • Have used a systems approach to suggest improvements

  • Worked in a multi-disciplinary team

The same workshop will be hosted at each location below.
